October 1 Saturday – Sagittarius ♐︎ Plant alliums. Clean up the yard decks, patios, & side walks.
I sanded and painted the railing on the porch. Swept the front porch. I cut down the large stalks of evening primrose and trimmed out any weeds in front flower bed. Dead-headed some of the chrysanthemums. Turned the compost pile. Watered the transplants & seedlings with aspirin water.

I planted shelling peas “Littles Marvels” peas and hung the cuc vines on the fence. Got rid of any weeds and put straw down and watered.
Harvested 3.25 lbs (3) zucs, 1/4 lbs beans (the last of them), 3/4 lb eggplant.

Planted the berry plant that Sarya gave me. Weeded and fixed up the blackberries and then planted it. Cleaned out the area in the Rock garden with all the weeds. then planted shallots and garlic.

Planted “Golden Ball”turnip, “Magres” rutabaga,& 2 beet seeds in the bed next to the garlic bed in the Rock Garden. Cleared weeds away from the artchoke plants and separated out the small plants growing too close together. Put gaden soil around them and then hay to cover.
